cheesy & chuffed
-
簡介
Hi there! In this lesson, I'm going to teach you two words commonly used by British native speakers - 'cheesy' and 'chuffed'. If something is cheesy, it's unsophisticated and even tacky, for example a cheesy romantic comedy. 'Chuffed', on the other hand, is a feeling when you are very, very happy. So I can be chuffed about getting a new job or I am chuffed about getting married next month.
This shirt is cheesy, but it suits you.
