"Would like” is a polite way to say that we want something. “Would like” is the same for all persons. In positive sentences, we say: I would like, you would like, he would like, she would like, it would like, we would like, you would like, they would like. For example: "I would like to check in." or "She would like to check in."

"Would like" can also have short forms. The short form of “I would” is "I’d". For example: "I would like to check in" or "I’d like to check in". The short form of "would not" is "wouldn't". So we can say: "I would not like to stay in a single room" or "I wouldn’t like to stay in a single room".
