Hi! In this lesson, I'm going to teach you two very British words starting with the letter 'y'. The first word is 'yonks'. 'Yonks' means a very long time, an eternity. If you haven't seen someone for yonks, you haven't seen them for a very long time. The second word is 'yucky'. 'Yucky' is a children's word for something disgusting. So, for example, for many children, broccoli is quite yucky.
