Intro
In English, we use a lot of short forms. Two common short forms are “’m” and “’s.” We use “’m” with “I.” “’m” means “am.” For example: “I’m Lucy” means “I am Lucy.” We use “’s” with the third person singular. “’s” means “is.” For example: “My name’s Sarah” means “My name is Sarah,” and “What’s your name?” means “What is your name?”
