Do you know when we use Present Simple and Present Continuous? Watch a short explanation and repeat the example sentences after me.

Grammar

  • Úvod

We use the Present Continuous for things happening right now. For example: "You're breaking up." "It's still loading." We use the Present Simple for habits and things that are generally true. For example: "My connection usually works fine." "She always joins the call on time." Here's a grammar tip: words like now, still, and at the moment go with Present Continuous. Words like usually, always, and never go with Present Simple.
