Do you know when we use the verb “should”? Watch a short explanation and repeat the example sentences after me.

When we someone advice, we use “should”. "Should" is a modal verb. This means that it is the same for all persons. For example: "I, you, he, she should take painkillers". After "should" comes another verb without "to". In our example it is "should take". In negative sentences, we add "not" to "should", and we have "should not" or "shouldn't". For example: "You shouldn't go outside". In questions, “should” goes at the beginning of the sentence. For example: “Should I stay in bed?"
