When we talk about places, we often use small words like “on” and “in.” These words are called prepositions. We use “on” for streets or sides of the street. For example: “The underground station is on King Street.” “The Old Town is over there on the left.” We use “in” for bigger areas or places. For example: “The Old Town is in the city centre.”
